Misión del Mesías: Spreading the Gospel Through Rock at Dunamis Rock Tabasco

W gorący wieczór w Tabasco, podczas elektryzującej atmosfery festiwalu Dunamis Rock, wydarzyło się coś wyjątkowego. To nie był zwykły koncert — to było On a warm night in Tabasco, during the electrifying atmosphere of Dunamis Rock, something unforgettable unfolded. This wasn’t just another concert—it was a gathering of souls hungry for more than entertainment. Dunamis Rock is a growing movement in Latin America that brings together faith, music, and youth culture in one raw, unfiltered space. It’s where bold messages meet heavy riffs, and where the gospel finds its voice in rock.

Misión del Mesías logoThat voice was loud and clear in Misión del Mesías, a new Christian rock band making their live debut. Hailing from southern Mexico, the group is united by one mission: to share the message of salvation through authentic, spirit-filled music. Their performance—packed with emotion, energy, and truth—struck a chord with everyone in the crowd.

After the show, we sat down with the band to talk about their first time on stage, their vision for gospel rock, and what’s next. This is more than just an interview—it’s a glimpse into a band driven by purpose, powered by conviction, and ready to light up every stage they step on.

Yuritza:
Good evening! I’m Yuritza Salvador, co-organizer of Dunamis Rock in Tabasco. Tonight we’re joined by the band Misión del Mesías, who just performed live. We’d love to ask you a few questions about your experience. First up—how did it feel to play in front of an audience?

Sam (guitarist):
Good evening! We felt really excited. This was our very first performance as a band, and the first time we played our original songs. The audience’s reaction was so moving—it’s something we’ll never forget. It truly enriched us, and we’re grateful for the experience.

Yuritza:
What does it mean to you to spread the gospel through rock music?

Sam:
For us, it’s an act of obedience. We’ve always felt called to express our faith through music, even if not everyone understands it. We believe the Bible tells us to share the gospel with everyone—music is our way to do that.

Abraham (bassist):
The emotions we felt were deep and powerful. Our main goal was to deliver a message of salvation. That’s what touched our hearts the most—knowing we’re here to impact lives through music.

Gabriel (drummer):
I hope people remember the emotions in every song. Each track carries a specific message for the listener. We truly hope they took something meaningful with them and share in our passion and joy for music.

Alex (guitarist):
One of our short-term goals is to release a music video—we’ll be sharing more details soon.
As for which song moved us the most tonight—I’d say all of them. When we asked the crowd what their favorite was, they said, “All of them.” Every song carries its own emotion and message that many people can relate to.

Yuritza:
It really was a joyful night, thanks to your songs. Do you have any shoutouts or final thoughts?

The Band:
We want to thank everyone, especially the Dunamis Rock team and KKK America.
Big hugs to you all! We hope to see you again soon. We are Misión del Mesías: Abraham on bass, Alex on guitar, Manuel on vocals, Gabriel on drums, and I’m Sam, guitarist.

Yuritza:
Thank you for joining us at another Dunamis Rock concert. See you next time!
