Blindead 23's new album "Vanishing" is out

After a long wait, the new release from the band Blindead 23, titled “Vanishing,” is finally out. The album, which is the band's first project in five years, is promoted by the single “Let Them Speak.” A music video for the song, directed by the group Ćmy i Paprocie, is available for viewers on the band’s website.

Blindead 23It has been five years since Blindead's last album, titled “Niewiosna,” was released. That album symbolized a farewell to the band's previous incarnation, ushering them into a new era of creativity. The band’s leader, Havok, emphasizes that the new material is a personal odyssey for him, reflecting the darkest moments of his life.

“After several years of burnout, my creativity awakened. I had never composed with such a clear mind, confidence, and freedom before,” says Havok. This is how the album “Vanishing” was born, which was formally created over the past two years, with recording concluding in 2023 with the new lineup.

The creative core responsible for this album consists of Havok, Patryk Zwoliński, and Paweł Jaroszewicz. Zwoliński, who is the lyricist, also wrote the vocal parts, which Havok describes as "the best in his career." Jaroszewicz, in addition to playing drums, co-composed all the music, significantly influencing the final sound of the album.

The band also collaborated with Mystic Production, with whom they had been associated since 2010 when the album “Affliction” was released. Havok explains that the decision to develop a creative vision with Patryk Zwoliński was a natural continuation of their previous achievements. “Our paths diverged creatively from the rest of the original lineup, so we decided to start a new chapter under the modified name Blindead 23,” he adds.

The album cover for “Vanishing” was created by Gabriel Janion, who uniquely captured the emotions accompanying the creation of the release. The album is a catalog of personal struggles, full of battles with past demons and a reflection of the worst period in Havok’s life.

The album “Vanishing” is available for purchase, and music lovers can buy it through this link: [insert purchase link].

Havok, the band’s leader, talks about the new material:

“After several years of burnout, my creativity awakened. I had never composed with such a clear mind, confidence, and freedom before. I wrote most of the album then, and we finished recording it with the new lineup in 2023. Due to reasons beyond our control, the album will be released a bit later. However, this situation was a direct impetus to start working on new music.

This is how the material for “Vanishing” was created, the first release of Blindead 23, which will be released by Mystic Production on September 27 this year.

It is a story about the worst period of my life, full of battles with demons that dragged me to the very bottom of the abyss.

The creative core responsible for this album was the three of us: Patryk Zwoliński, who wrote wonderful lyrics and recorded what I believe are the vocal parts of his life, and Paweł Jaroszewicz, who not only played the drums but also co-composed all the music with me. Our history with Mystic Production dates back to 2010 when the album “Affliction” of the previous incarnation of the band was released under their banner, followed by two more, “Absence” and “Ascension.” When Patryk Zwoliński and I decided to develop our creative vision, it turned out to be a natural continuation of what we had created before. Our paths diverged creatively from the rest of the original lineup, so we decided to start a new chapter under the modified name Blindead 23.”

With their new album “Vanishing,” Blindead 23 shows that they can transform personal tragedies into a powerful work of art. With a fresh approach and creative energy, the band is once again ready to win the hearts of fans. We look forward to further news and new sounds from this exceptionally talented formation.
