Keyodis, a band quickly gaining attention for their bold fusion of metal, hardcore, and atmospheric rock, has released their new single “Crucifixio”. The track stands as the centerpiece of the upcoming EP “Historia Salutis”, available via The Charon Collective.

The Story of the Cross
Singer-songwriter Morgan Hochstetler calls the song a step-by-step retelling of Jesus’s crucifixion – from mocking crowds and Roman soldiers to the centurion’s confession: “Truly, this was the Son of God.” “It’s brutal truth that He breathed His last in suffering so we may breathe in life,” Hochstetler explains.
The Concept of “Historia Salutis”
The EP follows the arc of salvation history – from the garden and incarnation, through the cross, to the birth of the church and final victory. Sonically, Keyodis blend heavy riffs, haunting atmospheres, and cinematic depth to build a cohesive, concept-driven journey.
Sound and Identity
Keyodis thrive on honesty and uncompromising force. Their genre fusion sets them apart in the Christian and underground heavy scenes. If you enjoy August Burns Red, Wolves at the Gate, or Fit For A King, their blend of melody and weight may resonate with you.
