Les Carlsen & BLOODGOOD — the quick backstory
As one of Christian metal’s trailblazers, BLOODGOOD cut their teeth amid resistance in the mid-80s — a journey chronicled in the documentary Trenches of Rock. Classic-era highlights include Rock in a Hard Place (1988) and Out of the Darkness (1989). After a long hiatus, the band returned with Dangerously Close in 2013. Meanwhile, Les Carlsen launched a solo path; his 2022 debut He’s Coming features guests from Stryper and Bloodgood.
